Casa Carboni
Casa Carboni is an Italian Cooking School and Enoteca in Angaston, established by Fiona and Matteo Carboni in 2012 after moving to Australia from Parma, northern Italy late 2011. The cooking school offers an authentic Italian experience with recipes inspired by Matteo’s homeland and his Nonna Pia, brought to life by the great selection of fresh farm gate produce available here in the Barossa.
Casa Carboni’s cooking school is designed for intimate groups of up to 6 people for completely hands on cooking classes either 1.5hrs or 3hrs. Also offered are cooking demonstration classes and tastings and children’s cooking classes. Matteo’s classes are a great opportunity to learn and have fun in the kitchen. Matteo’s philosophy is to teach traditional recipes based on the best of seasonal Barossa produce, showing different techniques that can be easily replicated at home with the same results.
And the best bit – at the conclusion of the class, everyone is seated in the Enoteca to enjoy the wonderful dishes you have prepared with a glass of wine and espresso coffee.
