Our specially curated Proposal Package is brimming with romance. The scene will be set perfectly when you arrive at your cottage or suite, surrounded by vineyard with beautiful lake views.
You'll find a Barossa Food Basket full of Barossa produce ready for you to enjoy for lunch or dinner. Depending on the season, sit outside on your private deck or courtyard and take in the sunshine with glorious views over the lake and the vineyard. Or cosy up next to the firepit or indoor fire, while relaxing with a glass of wine.
Wake up as late as you like the next morning and prepare a delicious breakfast for your partner with the generous array of fresh local produce supplied. Enjoy a row around the lake, feed the friendly ducks and take a leisurely walk around the property. Then head out for the day, the best of the Barossa awaits your discovery. There's plenty to explore along nearby Seppeltsfield Road, wineries and cellar doors, gin distilleries, art galleries, farm shops, cafes and restaurants.
That evening, just before sunset, you'll be chaffeured from Stonewell to a specially selected picturesque Barossa location. Enjoy a bottle of champagne while watching the sun go down, the perfect time and place to ask that all important question. You will then be taken on to your dinner at Vintner's Bar & Grill, a fine dining restaurant to enjoy a delicious degustation menu with matched wines.
While you are out dining, a beautiful vase of a dozen red roses, a card with your heartfelt mesasge and a box of decadent artisan Cuvee chocolates chocolates will be delivered to your suite or cottage. Arriving back at Stonewell, this extra special suprise for your partner, as they walk in, will be sure to delight and concludes your memorable evening.

Absolutely perfect experience with the Proposal Package in Cupids Cottage. The location and cottage itself is 10/10 unbelievable, my partner was crying before she knew I was even proposing it is so amazing! But the real star is the attention to detail in the small things from the food hampers to the breakfast for the ducks to the chaffeur driven evening (Ben S - who is a credit to the experience with his knowledge and friendliness) and Vintners degustation menu is honestly some of the best food/wine we've ever had! Couldn’t recommend enough and so happy we chose here!
