Barossa Vintage Festival 30th March – 7th April 13

The 2013 Barossa Vintage Festival (30 March to 7 April) brings together more than 100 separate events ranging from gala dinners to winemaking classes, concerts, art exhibitions and wine auctions.
The Festival begins with the ever popular opening event “Carnival at Seppeltsfield”. Other highlights include the Black Tie Festival Ball, which dates back to 1947, and “Race to the Plate with Maggie Beer” which will see teams meet the ultimate culinary challenge – all against the clock.
The 48-page program has just been released. Pick up your copy at the Barossa Visitor Information Centre or download it here and start planning now!
*Please note – the image used of grape stomping is a novelty, fun event offered during the bin-annual Vintage Festival only which is held during April every 2 years. It is not an activity that is offered at our property or at other wineries in the area. The vintage period when grapes are being harvested is from Feb – April. Outside of this time, no grapes are being harvested or crushed as grape picking only occurs seasonally when the grapes are ripe. Grape stomping is not a routine activity that takes place at wineries as part of their normal processing of grapes into wine.
