We can honestly say this is the very best getaway we have been to. The attention to detail is incredible, you have thought of what we needed before we did! The standard of cleanliness was first rate, really impressed. Job VERY well done, presented beautifully, with much pride taken in their work. (I want your staff for my own home!)
We loved all the little treats - choccies by the bed, the choccies in the lounge, bottle of wine, cookies etc. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. (stayed in Hideaway)
Everything in Cupid's Cottage has appeared to be done and prepared with love, showcasing the best of the Barossa.
First time here and thought it was excellent. Nice and cosy and private. Your website portrayed exactly what to expect and even more. Enjoyed our stay. Will recommend to others. (stayed in Haven Spa Retreat)
I would change nothing. The setting is perfect, the lake so calming and the cottages are quaint and beautiful. Just the right mix of rustic charm and modern conveniences. The cottage was so pretty and clean. The soft scent of lavender greeted us on arrival and all the thoughtful little extras made us feel so welcome. Could not be more perfect! Your Hideaway is our heaven!
This is our 4th visit at Stonewell Cottages and Tina and the staff have exceeded our expectations again. The beautiful surrounds, ducks and everything the cottage offers, is the reason we always stay here, it is our favourite location in the Barossa. Thankyou so much, it was a lovely way to spend part of our honeymoon. The little touches, the gourmet platter upon arrival was lovely. The new additions of ducklings were great. This will keep us coming back time and time again! We cannot recommend this place enough to our friends and family.
I wanted to thank you for a lovely stay in Cupid’s Cottage and also for booking Appellation for me – we had a lovely dinner. I really liked the privacy of the cottage, the quality of the produce supplied and also the no-fuss “check-in” procedure. The friendly ducks were just an added bonus!
We were overwhelmed by the cottage, the food and the location. Absolutely fabulous, niche travel agents in Europe should be made aware. This is a perfect location to take a break for Europeans travelling in Australia.
We have travelled to many destinations over the years and found Cupid's Cottage exceeded what we expected. Every detail was exceptional, the location, the tranquility, the peace - a haven for a getaway, to just sit back and enjoy all the surroundings! We can't thankyou enough for creating such an oasis.
