We arrived at our Hideaway Cottage with our friends Chris and Kim to be greeted by the resident ducks and coots which was such a delight. Our cottage was perfect for two couples...extremely comfy beds, two sofas, lovely outdoor sitting area, wonderfully stocked kitchen with lots of treats in the fridge and on a platter in the lounge area. Everything was spotless. We really enjoyed our time at Stonewell. Our cottage was positioned over looking a huge lake and although because of the drought, the water was low, we were constantly entertained by the water birds and loved feeding the ducks and coots who were very friendly. A lovely quiet position with both bedrooms overlooking the grape vines. We would highly recommend this beautiful getaway.
We would like to say thank you so much for providing such a beautiful setting with such gorgeous cottages and special inclusions. All our friends commented on how lovely the spot was and in particular how relaxed they felt as soon as they arrived. Coming from all our busy lives at the end of the year it was such a blessing to be able to relax so quickly. We all fell in love with the ducks and I think everyone had multiple conversations with them over the few days. Ross and I stayed in the gorgeous Cupids Cottage and loved every minute of it, from breakfast in our little kitchen or out the front, to reading by the dam and even trying out the boat ( very badly ). Tina, your care in texting and calling to ensure everything was taken care of was fabulous. Thank you for your time and care. Our plan for our 25th anniversary was to spend some quality time with dear friends in a special place. Stonewell Cottages was the perfect place to do this and we had the weekend we had dreamed of. It was just perfect, thank you. Best wishes for a wonderful 2016, I am sure we will be revisiting Stonewell Cottages sometime in the future.

In October 2012 we needed a break and found Stonewell Cottages Hideaway. This was a memorable holiday and we were pleased at the location, atmosphere, cleanliness and the fact that little considerations were everywhere and that we were made to feel so welcome - Thank you for our wonderful break and an extra special time.
My husband and I took a much needed 2 night "kid free" break at Stonewell and enjoyed every minute of the serene and beautiful surroundings. A perfect place to explore the Barossa or just stay put and make the most of the retreat. The attention to detail and excellent customer service also adds to the superb Stonewell experience!!
We had just the one night at Cupid's Cottage, but it was a fantastic, relaxing stay. Loved the fire, spa, boat, ducks and bikes! Amazing place to stay to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy working week. Nice cosy cottage which I could easily live in! Everything is so clean and modern. Extremely happy with our stay. Excellent location and has everything you need! Look foward to one day returning.
We had a very relaxing stay. Congratulations on creating a tranquil retreat and for supporting local producers around the Barossa. Pefect, could not ask for more. PS...Love those friendly ducks!!
Dear Tina and Evan, thankyou for a such a wonderful cottage to finish our trip 'down under'. We've loved everything about the Barossa Valley and we will be back to sample more Aussie 'stickies'. We will miss the Aussie hospitality and of course Melot and Fronti (aka Dyson) - we've never seen such friendly ducks!
Dear Tina and Evan, you have created a little bit of 'heaven on earth'. Great setting, beautiful food, excellent wine, friendly ducks, tranquility and comfort at every turn. We were delighted to return for our 5th Anniversary.
Wow - 2 nights was not long enough beautiful surrounds and all the little extras, so private. Perfect don't change a thing we will be back.
