Very happy with our stay. Two couples in Hideaway Cottage. We had the BBQ packs for dinner on the first night, and very good. The cottage is very cosy and we enjoyed using the fire on both evenings. The extras supplied are very generous indeed and kitchen very well equipped. All in all we were very happy with our stay. David & Pam
We have received exceptional customer service, and fantastic communication, with Stonewell Cottages and Vineyards. The level of professionalism and care has been amazing. Due to Covid-19, we have had to unfortunately postpone our booking, and they have been so understanding. We cannot wait to re-plan our stay and support them!
Wonderful place to stay. Everything was perfect for a relaxing few days of pampering. The winter warmer package provided such an abundance of quality delicious food we could hardly eat it all (although we gave it a really good try). Tina was unobtrusively helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Thank you.
Cupid's Cottage is the ideal private winter getaway! This delightful little place is quiet, exclusive; and beautifully appointed. We loved the cosy wood heater as well as the romantic spa, and the many delicious provisions were on the amazing side of generous! Tina and Evan obviously take pride in making everything as perfect as possible - never intruding, but always in contact if required. We found it was a brilliant place to tuck ourselves away in this beautiful part of the country. Now we're waiting to come back in summer! Totally recommended.
What a wonderful place! Great cottage - everything was perfect! The location is superb to the best of what the Barossa has to offer! Everything was laid on for us and it was effortless!! It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we had a fabulous time!! We had privacy; views and comfort! Highly recommend

I picked Stonewell as my destination for our Wedding anniversary because it looked like everything I wanted in a special romantic getaway. I'm so glad I did !! It was such an amazing place to stay amongst the vineyards and beside the lake .They thought of every little thing to make our stay so memorable. The paddle around the lake at sunset feeding the ducks was one of many highlights. Highly recommend Stonewell Cottages to anyone
It really is a fabulous cottage, well stocked and cared for. We had a wonderful stay. (stayed in Haven Spa Retreat)
We have yet to stay at a better more divine cottage! We loved every minute! The lakeside setting provided the most relaxing experience possible. In a few short minutes I was transformed from a bundle of nerves to a relaxed human being. And then there was the Haven. It had everything you could desire and all the little extras - chocolates, toiletries, wine what more could you hope for. It has been, again, an amazing experience and we shall return!
My wife and I wanted a quality break in quiet surroundings and the 3 nights spent in the Haven Spa Retreat exceeded our expectations. So quiet and tranquil yet it lies in the heart of the areas we wanted to visit and, therefore, driving was limited to just short journeys, returning to enjoy and relax in our accommodation in between trips. Would highly recommend.
