Time to shake off the winter blues, put those ugg boots and flannelette pjs away! Spruce yourself up, get out and about and spend a beautiful spring day together exploring the Barossa - where there's fresh spring air, vineyards bursting with new green life, delicious local food, cellar doors, wineries and distilleries to discover. That should put a spring in your step!

Start your stay with an early check-in. For dinner there's a self-cook BBQ pack supplied from our local butcher with accompanying salads and two David Franz Scrumpy Ciders. Enjoy in your private courtyard, surrounded by vineyards, overlooking the lake, the perfect way to unwind on your first night.

The next morning, wake up to a leisurely breakfast featuring an array of delicious produce from our handpicked small local suppliers.

After your heartly breakfast you'll be ready to spring into your day by discovering the vineyard that surrounds your suite. Take a guided educational tour with Evan around the property in the ATV vineyard buggy. Learn first hand about what's happening in the vineyard right now, spring is a busy season and a lot goes on before the time finally comes to pick the grapes! Learn about our sustainable vineyard practices and see the fantastic progress of our native planting and regeneration projects. Take a drive up to the top of the property for an expansive view of the Stonewell valley, you'll likely meet the kangaroo family that reside amongst the peppermint box gums.

Then head off on the bikes for a ride along the palm lined scenic Seppeltsfield Road. Your first stop is nearby Tscharke Wines and their stunning cellar door 'The Protagonist'. Choose your favourite wine from the Tscharke range to take home with you. Be sure to try 'A thing of beauty Grenache', that's definitely our favourite, as the name suggests, a beautiful wine.

Continue a short way along Seppeltsfield Road to Seppeltsfield Rd Distillers. Enjoy a gin tasting experience out on their deck in the sunshine. Choose your favourite gin, and take a 200ml bottle with you. Insider tip...the Shiraz gin is made from our Stonewell Shiraz so we think it's a darn good drop and with the many awards and accolades it's received, be sure to try it and see what you think! And for something even more special, be the first to try the just released barrel-aged Shiraz gin.

If you feel like discovering the region further, continue riding along the scenic road to Seppeltsfield Winery. There's plenty to explore here. Take a walk around the spacious gardens and grounds, grab a light lunch and coffee at Octiene Cafe or enjoy a wine tasting at the cellar door. Take a look through the JamFactory, a hub for art and design, with studio spaces for professional artisans working in a variety of media, including knife making, ceramics, millinery, glass and leather. Meet the makers and view their skills in action. Visit Vasse Virgin soap factory for a beautiful selection of natural handmade body and skin care products as well as olive oils, olives and gourmet foods.

Late afternoon, return to your suite for a relaxing evening, take in the sunset over the water with a glass of your favourite gin or wine in hand. For dinner there's a Barossa Food Basket for you to enjoy, with a delicious selection of local produce.
