Our Summer Chillax package is the perfect way to enjoy a refreshing and relaxing break before or after a busy Xmas! An in-room massage, a gin or wine tasting experience, a long lunch and your fridge stocked with enough gourmet food and drinks to get you through your entire stay, all in an idyllic location. Take a deep breath...peace, privacy, seclusion and space are to be found here at Stonewell.

Start your stay with an early check-in and discover the vineyards that surrounds your suite or cottage. Be greeted by Evan and take a guided vineyard tour around the property in the ATV vineyard buggy. Learn first hand about what's happening in the vineyard right now, spring is a busy season and a lot goes on before the time finally comes to pick the grapes! Learn about our sustainable vineyard practices and see the fantastic progress of our native planting and regeneration projects. Take a drive up to the top of the property for an expansive view of the Stonewell valley, you'll likely meet the kangaroo family that reside amongst the peppermint box gums.

For dinner there's a self-cook BBQ pack supplied from our local butcher with accompanying salads and refreshing drinks from Seppeltsfield Rd Distillers, a Barossa Shiraz Gin Soda and a Gin & Tonic. Insider tip...the Shiraz gin is made from our Stonewell Shiraz so we think it's a darn good drop and with the many awards and accolades it's received we aren't the only ones who think so! Enjoy on the expansive deck, surrounded by vineyards, overlooking the lake, the perfect way to unwind on your first night.

The next morning, wake up to a hearty breakfast featuring an array of delicious produce from our handpicked small local suppliers. After a good coffee made from freshly roasted Barossa Coffee Roasters, you'll be ready to start exploring. Jump on the bikes provided for a ride along the palm lined scenic Seppeltsfield Road. Your first stop is nearby New Wave Wines at the stunning re-imagined Marananaga School precident. New Wave wines is a cellar-door collective and wine bar showcasing innovative wines from small, independent producers. Enjoy a guided tasting from the producers or the varietals of your choice OR if gin is more your thing, head accross the road to Seppeltsfield Rd Distillers. Enjoy a gin tasting experience out on their deck in the sunshine. If you would prefer, you can choose to do the wine tasting or gin experience after lunch.

For lunch open the old school door to the charming new restaurant Staġuni, where Clare and her team take the best seasonal and local ingredients, and transform them into vibrant, flavourful dishes. Alternatively, take a short ride further on to Seppeltsfield and enjoy lunch in the beautiful outdoor courtyard at Fino, where fresh, locally sourced produce is crafted into elegant, share-style dishes.

If you feel like discovering the region further, there's plenty to explore at Seppeltsfield Winery. Take a walk around the spacious gardens and grounds, enjoy a wine tasting at the cellar door. Take a look through the JamFactory, a hub for art and design, with studio spaces for professional artisans working in a variety of media, including knife making, ceramics, millinery, glass and leather. Meet the makers and view their skills in action. Visit Vasse Virgin for a beautiful selection of natural handmade body and skin care products as well as olive oils, olives and gourmet foods.

Late afternoon, return to your suite for the evening, stretch out on the sunlounges on the deck, take in the sunset over the vines and lake. And to ease those muscles after riding, you can also enjoy an in-room massage. For dinner, if you are really still hungry after all of the eating and drinking there's a Barossa Food Basket for you to enjoy, with a delicious selection of local produce and a bottle of our own estate grown Pfeif & Bell Stonewell Shiraz.
